On Thursday, Jan. 31, the Baker-Nord Center for Humanities “Revolution!” series will continue with “Keeping the Stories Alive,” led by English professor Jim Sheeler.
For the past few years, Sheeler has brought his journalism/multimedia class to Cleveland’s Eliza Bryant Village, the nation’s oldest continually operating African-American nursing home, to document the lives of its residents. During his talk, Sheeler will reveal the lessons behind these stories, obtained by himself and his students.
The event, which will begin at 4:30 p.m. in Clark Hall 206, is free and open to the public, and registration is recommended. For more information, visit case.edu/humanities.
