The CWRU Film Society—with cosponsors Footlighters and Swing Club—will host film screenings of La La Land (2016) Friday, Nov. 12 in Strosacker Auditorium. Showings will be held at 7 p.m., 9:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m.
Showings are open to members of the Case Western Reserve University community and the general public. Tickets cost $4 and can be purchased on CampusGroups and at the door.
Concessions will be available for purchase. Masking is mandatory for all attendees unless consuming food/drink.

Synopsis
Starring Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone and Rosemarie DeWitt, the film focuses on aspiring actress Mia and dedicated jazz musician Sebastian who are struggling to make ends meet while pursuing their dreams in a city known for destroying hopes and breaking hearts. With modern-day Los Angeles as the backdrop, this musical about everyday life asks what is more important: a once-in-a-lifetime love or the spotlight?
