The Flora Stone Mather Center for Women will host a Prosocial Bystander Training Workshop through the It’s On CWRU program.
This evidence-informed bystander intervention program uses community care as the foundation for intervention. Participants will learn how to define prosocial bystander behavior, recognize potentially harmful situations, and articulate their community responsibility to intervene and implement intervention skills to safely and positively intervene before, during, and after acts of violence.
This workshop will be held Wednesday, Sept. 22, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248. Register to attend via CampusGroups.
