Earlier this semester, assistant professor of law Tim Webster’s article “China’s Human Rights Footprint in Africa” was accepted for publication in the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. The article will feature a response from Professor James Gathii, Wing-Tat Lee Professor of International Law at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
In October, he presented “Compliance and Contention: China as a WTO Litigant,” at two conferences: at the China in the WTO: An Assessment After 10 Years conference, held at the Indiana University Robert McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis; and at the annual conference of Central States Law School Association, held at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University.
