Dhruv Seshadri, research engineer at the Case School of Engineering, described advances made in helping prevent heat stroke by noninvasive testing of core body temperature in a letter published by cleveland.com.
Seshadri’s piece, titled “Promising advances in measuring core body temperature to prevent heat stroke,” provided an update on researchers’ work, which initially garnered funding from the U.S. Air Force and more recently received recognition through the National Science Foundation’s Small Business Innovation Research Award.
Seshadri’s letter described the promising discoveries made at the university this year aimed at “providing everyone with tools to improve patient care and live healthier lives.”
