Case Western Reserve University’s 2021 commencement celebrations officially kicked off this weekend with ceremonies for graduates from the School of Law and School of Medicine. Students had the chance to gather with their peers to celebrate this milestone and look forward to what’s coming next, while family and friends—as well as students who couldn’t attend in person—were invited to join in via livestream.
James Chen (LAW ’91), vice president of public policy and chief regulatory counsel at Rivian, and Robert L. Haynie (GRS ’72, MED’78), associate dean emeritus for student affairs and founding dean of the Robbins Society, shared their wisdom and advice in addresses to the graduates.
Commencement will continue May 28–30 to honor the rest of the Class of 2021. Get the details for the remaining commencement events.
