Members of the Case Western Reserve University community, particularly faculty in STEM-related fields, are invited to attend the next meeting of the STEM Faculty Recruitment and Retention Journal Club. Pathway 4 of the university’s strategic plan, Think Big, seeks to increase recruitment and retention of historically disenfranchised populations in STEM disciplines. These monthly meetings focus on readings about best practices and research on faculty recruitment and mentoring, as well as other related topics that will engage attendees in discussion about the reading.
This is the final meeting of the 2020-21 academic year. Recordings from most of the other meetings can be found on the STEM Faculty Recruitment and Retention Journal Club website.
The meeting will take place today (April 28) from noon to 1 p.m. The meeting will be led by College of Arts and Sciences Dean Joy K. Ward.
