The Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods (PRCHN) will host the next installment of its seminar series Wednesday, April 14, at noon. This session is a special seminar presentation co-sponsored by the Schubert Center for Child Studies.
This interdisciplinary presentation and team discussion will offer insight on unique mental health issues within the Latinx/Hispanic adolescent population, as revealed during focus groups and in-depth interviews with area Latinx youth participants. This project was supported through a pilot grant awarded in 2019 by the Schubert Center for Child Studies, in collaboration with the CWRU Office of Research and Technology Management.
The presentation panel is composed of: Marisa Hollinshead, Nelson Ramirez, Molly Wimbiscus and Zulayka Ruiz.
The PRCHN Seminar Series aims to foster conversations and new collaborations, create opportunities to address health concerns, and aid in the work to achieve health equity in the community. All community members and organizations and Case Western Reserve University staff, faculty and students are invited to attend.
