The Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods (PRCHN) will host the next installment of its seminar series today (March 10) at noon. This session will feature a discussion titled “Personal Networks and Cancer Screening Among Black Immigrant Women.”
This presentation will describe the relationship between social networks and cancer screening among Black immigrant women and discuss the importance of identifying ways in which personal networks may be mobilized as part of intervention strategies to improve screening uptake.
The PRCHN Seminar Series aims to foster conversations and new collaborations, create opportunities to address health concerns, and aid in the work to achieve health equity in the community. All community members and organizations and Case Western Reserve University staff, faculty and students are invited to attend.
