The Center for Civic Engagement and Learning (CCEL) and Student Executive Council will host a talk titled “How to be Active in Your Community After Graduation” Friday, March 12, from 5 to 6:15 p.m. via Zoom.
Learn how to stay civically engaged in your community after graduation from a panel of Case Western Reserve University alumni who are active in their communities and staff from Cleveland nonprofits who connect community members to their civic passions. Attendees will learn how they can engage with service clubs and hobbies and young professional groups to expand their networks.
The panelists will be:
- Keniece Gray, a 2017 CWRU alum and current Georgetown Law student;
- Charity Taylor May, a 2013 CWRU alum and associate director at Turner Impact Capital;
- Nick Aylward, director of college and young professional programs at the Cleveland Leadership Center; and
- Heather Englander, director of business and community engagement at Business Volunteers Unlimited.
This event is open to members of the Case Western Reserve community.
