The Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine will present Doc Opera 2020: Trauma Mia! Saturday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m.
Now in its 36th year, Doc Opera is an annual variety show that draws talent from multiple health graduate programs. All components of Doc Opera are written, directed and performed by students and faculty to create a memorable night of skits, musical performances, and dances about medicine and health care.
For the first time, the show will be livestreamed for easy access. Students, faculty, staff and alumni, and health care providers, patients, families and other members of the Greater Cleveland community are invited to attend.
In keeping with CWRU’s commitment to give back to the community, Doc Opera is a fundraising event for Case Western Reserve University’s Student Run Health Clinic (SRHC). At the SRHC, graduate students from the medical, nursing, physician assistant and social work schools at CWRU and the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine work together to provide high quality, compassionate health care to underserved populations within the greater Cleveland community.
