Sharona Hoffman, Edgar A. Hahn Professor of Law, gave a talk Oct. 9 titled “Update on Electronic Health Records: HIPAA and HITECH,” at the Health Care & Market Forces: Current Issues Conference held at Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis.
In addition, Hoffman served as a session leader and panelist for a session on electronic health records at the Public Health Law Conference in Atlanta Oct. 11. At the same national conference, she also gave a talk titled “Mental & Behavioral Health in Emergencies: The Role of Electronic Health Records.”
