Home Office Set Up for Webinar and Teleconference whilst respecting the lockdown due to the corona virus outbreak

“Supporting Your Students at Home”

As the Case Western Reserve University community approaches winter break and students begin to prepare for a remote end to the semester, CWRU Health and Counseling Services and the Dean of Students Office invite parents, guardians and emergency contacts to attend a webinar for families who currently have—or will have—students learning at home.

The webinar, titled “Supporting Your Students at Home,” will cover strategies, services and support opportunities offered through the university to help make families aware of available resources. There will be a Q&A session during the webinar, but attendees are welcome to submit questions to the Dean of Students Office any time before or after the event.

Two sessions are available: Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Presenters for the Nov. 11 will be:

  • Gregory J. Harris, senior associate dean of students;
  • Richard B. Pazol, director of counseling at University Health and Counseling Services; and
  • Morgan Williams (CWR ‘16), Mental Health Task Force co-chair and graduate student in the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.

Register for the Wednesday session.

Presenters at the Nov. 12 session will:

  • Gregory J. Harris, senior associate dean of students;
  • Richard B. Pazol, director of counseling at University Health and Counseling Services; and
