The Center for International Affairs will kick off CWRU’s International Education Week celebration with a free #YouAreWelcomeHereCWRU face mask giveaway.
Students, staff and faculty are invited to stop by and pick up a mask on Monday, Nov. 9, outside Tomlinson Hall from 2 to 5 p.m. (or as long as supplies last).
The Center hopes the masks will help spread CWRU’s message of welcome and ensure all members of the university community, particularly those from historically marginalized communities, feel valued and know they belong.
There are several other events planned to celebrate International Education Week – including a week-long Virtual Study Abroad Fair, an opportunity to hear from CWRU alumni living abroad about how a global perspective can help students find career success and a Sustained Dialogue Program focused on standing with members of the campus community of Asian origins amid increasing racism.
