The Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education’s Rachel Lovell and Maggie Maguire led a workshop titled “When Survivors Self-identify Sexual Assault in Intimate Partner Violence: Implications for the Field from the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative” for the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence conference in August.
Lovell and Maguire discussed findings from their recent research, “Understanding Intimate Partner Sexual Assaults: Findings from Sexual Assault Kits,” to explore variation among existing intimate partner sexual assault data within reported incidences of sexual assault.
