Several medical students at Case Western Reserve University recently wrote an opinion piece discussing problems in the U.S. health care system.
In their piece, published in Septembr by USA Today, Rohit Anana, Dhiksha Balaji, Aparna Narendrula and Jasmine Serpen elaborated on health inequities perpetuated by the U.S. health care system and urged President Donald Trump and Joe Biden to address health care-related issues in the first presidential debate. Anana, Balaji, Narendrula and Serpen emphasized the importance of universal health care as a key factor in establishing a fair and equitable health care system.
