The College of Arts and Sciences, Case School of Engineering and Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Education are collaborating to sponsor a four-part Alumni Insight Speaker Series. The series will feature honest conversations with alumni as they share their stories about getting started post-graduation, overcoming obstacles, embracing setbacks and achieving their goals.
The first event of the series, “Developing a Growth Mindset,” will take place Thursday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. ET via Zoom. In this kick-off conversation, Katrina Hawkins (MPH ’13) will share how developing a growth mindset has helped her navigate a career journey that wasn’t always easy or clear-cut.
Hawkins is a health IT communications professional and recent Women of Color in STEM “Technology Rising Star” award recipient with more than 11 years of progressive management consulting experience in marketing communications, analytics, public policy, research and organizational infrastructure design. Using industry standards and IT frameworks, Hawkins has a proven track record of consulting and leading clients through the decision making necessary to reach their goals.
