Case Western Reserve University is committed to democratic citizenship, and part of that commitment is encouraging members of community to be election poll workers Nov. 3.
The Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities, Center for Civic Engagement & Learning, Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence, and Social Justice Institute have come together to support students who may be interested in becoming poll workers.
Students may ask for an excused absence for working the polls on Nov. 3 and will be supplied personal protective equipment and reimbursed for travel-related expenses (upon request). Additionally, poll workers in Cuyahoga County will make about $250.
The deadline to apply is Tuesday, Oct. 6.
