Kishore Guda, associate professor in the School of Medicine, had a study published in Cellular and Molecular Gastroenterology and Hepatology titled “Genome-Scale Analysis Identifies Novel Transcript-Variants in Esophageal Adenocarcinoma.”
Guda and his team members used genome-scale analysis to identify novel gene isoforms in esophageal adenocarcinoma. Identification of these transcript variants may be used to develop future biomarkers and therapeutic targets to fight this aggressive malignancy.
