Faculty, staff and their families are invited to the Cleveland Lakefront State Park for “Gales of November,” a presentation by an area expert on shipwrecks in the Great Lakes.
Following the presentation, attendees can visit the Nature Center and engage in four hands-on activities, examining weather and shipwrecks.
The Family Friday Night event will take place Nov. 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cleveland Lakefront State Park Headquarters.
Gales of November is a collaboration of Case Western Reserve University’s Center for Science and Mathematics Education, Cleveland Lakefront State Park and the Cuyahoga County Public Library. It is supported, in part, by the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation.
The event is free, but reservations are requested. To place a reservation, please call 216.881.8141, extension 3001.
