Art’s Henry Adams discusses upcoming exhibit of Frank Wilcox’s work

Landmarks and revealing portraits from a Clevelander in Paris

Scene Magazine: The work of Cleveland artist Frank N. Wilcox, who spent time in his 20s painting in France before returning to Cleveland, will be on display at the Tregoning & Company gallery. “This is a more sensitive body of work than his later style,” said Henry Adams, professor of American art. “The French work has the intensity of a young artist working very hard to develop a viewpoint and techniques.”
