Lavender Graduation seeks to honor and applaud graduating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, asexual and allied students by formally recognizing and celebrating their experiences, contributions and accomplishments during their time at Case Western Reserve University. Members of the campus community are invited to celebrate students Monday, April 27, from 4 to 5 p.m. on Zoom.
During the event, attendees will hear from university leadership and Dr. Lady J, a CWRU alum and local drag queen sensation. Graduating students and winners of the Douglas W. Nock Scholarship and community-nominated awards will be honored during the event.
Attendees are invited to download a Zoom background from the LGBT Center and dress in smart casual attire featuring the color lavender or another in the rainbow.
Those who would like to attend should fill out the Qualtrics form by Thursday, April 23, to receive the password to attend this virtual Zoom Lavender Graduation experience.
