Senior Chloe Francis makes the case for home gardening

Emptier grocery shelves help cultivate a growing interest in home gardening

NPR-Philadelphia/ WHYY: Chloe Francis, a senior at Case Western Reserve, spoke about the ease of growing vegetables, herbs and fruits in and on the balcony of her apartment, especially in a time with food scarcity at some grocery stores: “It feels daunting for some people to start a garden, like capital G garden, but it’s not too complicated and it feels good to grow your own food and have enough to share for other people.”
