Medium: David Clingingsmith, associate professor of economics at the Weatherhead School of Management, offered thoughts about the coronavirus risks bore by retail workers: “While their risks may not be as high as that of health workers who are in direct contact with individuals who are known to be sick,” he wrote, “they are much higher than those of us who are staying home. Priority should be given to figuring out ways of protecting them as much as possible, and once adequate supplies of personal protective equipment are available for health workers, they should be next in line.”
