The Women’s Initiative Committee of the Postdoctoral Association and the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women will present a symposium on childbirth and concerns before, during and after pregnancy.
A variety of speakers, including lactation consultants, doulas, and local mothers, will make presentations. The symposium will also cover topics such as racial disparities in maternal and infant mortality, and attendees will have the opportunity to receive training from experts.
The event is free and open to the campus community. Lunch will be provided.
