A test of the university’s outdoor emergency notification speakers is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, at approximately 9 a.m.
The message on the outdoor speakers will include the word “test.” In the event that an actual emergency happens at that time, the message will not say “test” and the instructions provided should be followed.
The Rave Guardian safety app, which sends messages via email, text, voice, social media, will not be tested at this time. However, members of the campus community are also encouraged to make sure their contact information is correct in the university’s emergency notification system. Visit getrave.com, enter the name “Case Western Reserve University,” and then follow the site’s prompts.
