Jane Timmons-Mitchell, clinical associate professor of psychiatry in the School of Medicine and senior research associate at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, presented a webinar titled “Research Findings – The Impact of a Virtual Mental Health Simulation on Middle School Educator Skills.”
Timmons-Mitchell presented research findings from a study that examined the effect of virtual training on middle school educators’ abilities to recognize warning signs among students.
The webinar was hosted by Kognito, a health-simulation company that aims to raise mental health awareness among educators and communities. Timmons-Mitchell presented the webinar alongside Glenn Albright, co-founder and director of research at Kognito.
