Margaret D. Larkins-Pettigrew, assistant dean in the Office of Student Affairs at the School of Medicine and associate professor in the Department of Reproductive Biology, is the featured speaker in the next Power of Diversity Lecture Series, sponsored by the Office for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity. The talk will be delivered Thursday, Feb. 13, from 3-4:30 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center Senior Classroom.
As an academic clinician in obstetrics and gynecology, Larkins-Pettigrew has dedicated more than 25 years of her professional and personal life to diversity issues and global health challenges of women. Her lecture, “Colors of My Heart: Embracing My Blackness through History, Legacy, Family, Fear and Faith” is free and open to the public.
