The Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable (WISER), an initiative of the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, has named the recipients of its Conference Travel Grant. The grant is an award program for women STEM students (undergraduate, graduate and professional) to attend conferences or professional enrichment opportunities in their field of study.
The following students received funding to attend their associated conference and academic meetings:
- Claire Barratt, a fourth-year undergraduate student studying chemical engineering, will attend the American Chemical Society National Meeting.
- Jessica Salley, a second-year graduate student studying communication sciences, will attend the International Cognitive-Communication Disorders Conference.
- Laurie Ann Moennich, a second-year graduate student studying clinical and translational science, will attend the American College of Cardiology 2020 Conference.
- Sarah Rahman, a second-year professional student studying medicine will attend the Academic Surgical Congress.
