The next Graduate Student Diversity 360 event will feature a discussion on gender diversity with AmariYah Israel, assistant director of the LGBT Center. This session will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room A11.
Israel will help attendees understand how to put knowledge into practice by creating inclusive environments for future clients and patients.
Graduate Student Diversity 360 features the 2019-20 cohort of graduate students who are further exploring topics introduced through the Diversity 360 program through facilitated sessions, panels and guest speakers on the following topics: understanding those who are undocumented, a local evening of service, women’s health access, multiracial/multiethnic identities, ecological awareness and gender diversity.
