Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join Kelvin Smith Library for workshops held in honor of Open Access Week (Oct. 21-27).
The workshops are designed to introduce participants to what the library has to offer.

The Scholarly Reputation Series Working Group will offer the “Advancing your Scholarly Success” workshop. It will introduce participants to Kelvin Smith Library expertise, services and resources to help them:
- Identify where to publish;
- Measure their scholarly impact;
- Leverage their rights as an author in scholarly publishing;
- Engage with digital scholarship; and
- Market their scholarship and themselves.
Lunch will be provided.

Digital Case: CWRU’s Open Access Repository workshop

Noon to 1 p.m.
Kelvin Smith Library’s Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship (first floor)
Stephanie Becker, institutional repository manager, and Mark Clemente, scholarly communications librarian, will present this session. Participants will learn about Digital Case, Case Western Reserve University’s open access repository, which is a resource for finding and sharing CWRU’s research, scholarship, special collections and archival material.
Attendees also will learn how to submit their own research in order to tap into the many benefits of participating in an open access repository.
Food will be provided.
