Kelvin Smith Library is gearing up for Octavofest, an annual celebration of the book and paper arts, with a presentation by internationally known food writer, author and chef Michael Ruhlman. A Cleveland native, Ruhlman has been a judge on television shows such as “Next Iron Chef” and “Iron Chef America” as well as a featured guest on “Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations.”
A book signing by Ruhlman will follow his presentation. One of his books, Ruhlman’s Twenty, will be available for purchase.
Food samples from the following local restaurants also will be available:
The event will be held Friday, Sept. 28, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Kelvin Smith Library.
