Kelvin Smith Library is partnering with the Center for International Affairs to sponsor a monthly series called Voices from Around the Globe. Faculty, students, staff, alumni and invited community guests from many backgrounds will have an opportunity to give presentations about their country, hometown and culture.
This month’s speaker, Milka Hanook, will present a lecture titled “Voices from Pakistan” Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 4 to 5 p.m. in Kelvin Smith Library’s Dampeer Room (on the second floor).
At each presentation, library books and materials will be displayed representing that country. These sessions will help attendees view various cultures from multiple perspectives to enrich their self-awareness to foster a diverse and inclusive campus.
Light refreshments will be provided.
