Students, faculty and staff are invited to a presentation by Joseph Cistone, CEO of International Partners in Mission (IPM), titled “Immigration Issues and Central America.”
The event will be held today (Oct. 1) from 1 to 2 p.m. in Mandel School, Room 336.
This event is an opportunity to discuss timely and relevant challenges with immigration, as well as learn about the Mandel School’s three-credit study abroad course to Guatemala during spring break.
This session is intended to raise awareness about current immigration issues, social work in Guatemala and study abroad opportunities with the Mandel School.
IPM, the LINK (Local InterNational Konnection) student group and International Education Programs at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences will sponsor the event.
Those who can’t attend in person are invited to tune in via Zoom with Meeting ID: 802-147-488.
