The African American Society of Case Western Reserve University hosts the Ebony Ball, an annual end-of-calendar-year celebration, to celebrate the successes and culture of Black students at CWRU.
CWRU Black alumni, community leaders, graduates, undergraduates and faculty are all invited to celebrate Sunday, Nov. 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Thwing Center ballroom This year, with the Harlem Renaissance as its theme, the Ebony Ball will recognize the incredible artistic talent in the Black community that defined the 1920s. Persisting beyond the Harlem Renaissance, the African American Society will celebrate the influence of Black art through a guest speaker, dinner, musical performances, poetry, and more.
