Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to celebrate Black history at CWRU at the African American Society’s 50th annual Ebony Ball Saturday, Dec. 2, in the Thwing Excelsior Ballroom.
The event—held from 6 to 9 p.m.—will include an elegant catered dinner (featuring chicken piccata, broccoli normandy, and vegetable lasagna), music performances, poetry readings and “Ebony Archives, An Exploration Into Black CWRU,” a free Black art and history exhibit presented by the Cleveland Institute of Art and University Archives, which will take place from 4 to 9 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased starting at $5 and include entrance to an after party at the Spot.
