Cleveland Public Library’s Main Library 100th Anniversary
May 10
Commemorate 100 years of the Cleveland Public Library’s main library with a day full of festivities Saturday, May 10. This Alice in Wonderland-themed event will feature a free garden party with food (including cake), entertainment, giveaways and more.
At 11:45 a.m., a historical marker will be unveiled in recognition of the main library’s architectural and cultural significance. The event also will mark the grand opening of two features at the library: a library shop and TechCentral.
Activities geared toward all ages will be offered throughout the day, including a genealogy clinic, do-it-yourself card-making workshop, a screening of the 1933 Alice in Wonderland film and more.
Cleveland Asian Festival
May 17–18
Celebrate the diverse Asian community in Cleveland during this annual festival, which marks its 16th year in 2025. Held during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, the festival is a community-minded affair that supports the AsiaTown neighborhood in Cleveland.
There’s something for everyone at this cultural festival, from food and vendors to activities and live performances. The cuisine options are plentiful with a wide array of local eateries serving dishes, desserts and beverages in the Asian Food Court.
While you’re enjoying a bite to eat, you can catch an Asian Pop Cover Dance Competition, test your knowledge with trivia, see ethnic fashion from various countries, see a traditional lion dance or support local performing artists.

Tremont Greek Festival
May 23–26
Get a taste of Greece during the highly anticipated Tremont Greek Festival. Held over Memorial Day weekend, the festival is expected to draw thousands of people for authentic Greek treats.
While food is the main draw of the event, there is more to it than just that. There also will be authentic Greek coffee and other beverages, traditional Greek dancing and a flea market. Guests also can tour the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
