3 reasons to contribute to Charity Choice this year

At Case Western Reserve University, the spirit of philanthropy and community engagement is deeply embedded in our values.

Case Western Reserve University’s Charity Choice campaign is an annual initiative that encourages CWRU employees to donate to one or more of 300+ local, state and national charitable organizations. Employees may donate voluntarily via check or through payroll deductions in one or multiple months.

With numerous charitable causes to support, faculty and staff have many compelling reasons to participate in this year’s campaign, including:

  1. Supporting local causes: The Charity Choice campaign allows you to support the community through a network of 300+ nonprofits. Whether it’s bolstering education, healthcare, housing, conservation or human services, your involvement can transform lives and create a positive impact on the Cleveland community.
  2. Fostering a sense of unity: Participation in the campaign not only makes a tangible difference but also strengthens our campus community. It unites faculty and staff in a common purpose, creating a sense of togetherness and shared responsibility for the welfare of our neighbors.
  3. Leading by example: Faculty and staff have a unique opportunity to lead by example. When they contribute to the Charity Choice campaign, it encourages students to embrace the values of philanthropy and community engagement, fostering a culture of giving that extends far beyond our campus.

Donations can be made easily online, through payroll deduction or on paper. Simply log in to HCM to enter your pledge or visit case.edu/charitychoice for donation instructions and additional information.

Join us in making a difference, now through Dec. 15.
