The Flora Stone Mather Center for Women invites members of the Case Western Reserve University community to attend the 2024 Flora Awards Ceremony Thursday, Oct. 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. Linsalata Alumni Center Great Hall.
During this ceremony, the Mather Center will recognize and celebrate seven women across Case Western Reserve University and the larger community who truly embody Flora Stone Mather’s spirit of kindness, generosity and work toward the betterment of society.
The Flora Award (formerly Women of Achievement Award) honors the philanthropic spirit and community service of Flora Stone Mather. This award recognizes women who, like Flora Stone Mather, address problems in their community and work innovatively and tirelessly to solve them through significant philanthropic and communal service and other acts of generosity.
The 2024 Flora Award winners are:
- Undergraduate student winner: Sudi Shatha Harbool
- Graduate student winner: Anvitha Ravipati
- Staff winner: Arlet Wright
- Faculty winner: Danielle Czarnecki
- Alumna winner: Halle Tecco
- Community winner: Teleangé Thomas
- Notable Woman of the Year: Shelly McNamara
A celebratory cocktail reception will follow the formal program.
