Weatherhead School of Management will host a panel discussion focused on the latest banking crisis Tuesday, April 4, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the George S. Dively Center, Room 202.
The panel discussion, titled “2023 Banking Failures: Bumps in the Road or Deeper Fragilities,” will focus on an analysis and anatomy of a bank failure, risk management and bank agility, rate hikes and fault lines, and governance.
Panelists will be:
- Joseph Haubrich of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland;
- Jennifer LaClair, director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and CFO of Ally Financial (2017–2022);
- Rahul Wadhawan of PwC,
- Cathy Mansfield of Case Western Reserve University School of Law; and
- Todd Schwarzinger of Cleveland Clinic.
The panel will be moderated by Lakshmi Balasubramanyan, professor of banking and finance at Case Western Reserve University.
