Benelect open enrollment for 2020 begins today (Nov. 4) and runs through Nov. 30. Open enrollment materials are available on the Human Resources website to assist employees in making elections in the online enrollment system.
Employees can view and enroll in Benelect plans by signing into HCM and then clicking on the Self Service Menu, Benefits, and then Benefits Enrollment. Employees experiencing any difficulties with the system may contact the HR Service Center at 216.368.6964 or via email at AskHR@case.edu.
Employees must complete Benelect online enrollment no later than Nov. 30.
This year, a 2020 Health Plan Decision Tool is available.
The Health Plan Decision Tool was developed by J.B. Silvers, a nationally recognized health care expert on the faculty at the Weatherhead School of Management, that can be used to estimate the costs of each health insurance plan offered by the university. This is another means to assist faculty and staff as they review their options, allowing them to make informed decisions regarding the health insurance plan that is right for their individual needs. As a reminder, employees will have the opportunity to meet with Benelect vendors at the Benefits Fair. The Benefits Fair is a two-day event held in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom on the following dates:
- Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 7, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Hearing screenings and flu vaccines will also be available to participating employees.
