The 13 Annual Short. Sweet. Film Fest. will be held on Wednesday, February 28 through Sunday, March 3 at Atlas Cinemas Shaker Square. We are showing nearly 300 films with 23 countries represented and 100 films were made in Northeast, Ohio.
The Short. Sweet. Film Fest. strives to showcase the best local, national, and international films from up-and-coming filmmakers. What better way to watch independent cinema than in the historic Atlas Cinemas in Shaker Square?
Wednesday, February 28 – Opening Night, doors open at 6:00pm and films will run from 7:00-10:00pm, followed by a Q & A with filmmakers.
Thursday, February 29 – Student Filmmaker’s Night – doors open at 6:00pm and student films (including three by CWRU students) will run from 7:00-10:15pm, followed by a Q & A with filmmakers.
Friday, March 1 – Local Filmmaker’s Night & Short. Sweet. + (LGBTQ + Discussion) + Comedy/Drama + Horror, doors open at 6:00pm and films will run from 7:00-10:30pm.
Saturday, March 2 – Comedy, Animation, Music Videos, Action/Thriller, Drama, Horror, International, and Experimental doors open at 10:30am and films will run from 11:00am-8:00pm.
Sunday, March 3 – Local Filmmaker’s Matinee, Environmental, Documentary, Comedy/Drama, International, Best of the Fest, and the Short. Sweet. Film Competition. doors open at 10:30am and films will run from 11:00am-9:30pm.
Food and drinks will be available to purchase at the concession in the lobby.
