The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, in partnership with John Carroll University, Cuyahoga Community College and Cleveland State University, will host the 12th International Conference on Conflict Resolution Education, “Bridging the Divide in Polarized Societies,” from Tuesday, May 22, to Saturday, May 26.
This year’s conference, hosted in various Cleveland locations, will bring together hundreds of educators, policymakers, practitioners and students for two days of intensive trainings (May 22 and 23).
The main conference (May 24 and 25) will feature more than 40 workshops delivered by presenters from six countries. Two keynote speakers also will give addresses: Saji Prelis from the 2018 Noble Peace Prize-nominated organization Search for Common Ground, and Essma Bengabsia, New York University student and founding member of Faith New Jersey’s Statewide Youth Council.
