121 Fitness is offering three free fitness clubs this summer, including the new Cycle Club.
Cycle Club meets on Saturdays at 8:15 a.m. at 121 Fitness and leaves for a two-hour ride at 8:30 a.m. 121 Fitness Cycle Instructor Deneen LaMonica leads the rides. A bike and helmet are required. There is no need to pre-register. For more information, email LaMonica at deneenlamonica@yahoo.com.
The other two clubs offered are Walking Club and Running Club.
Walking Club meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at noon at various locations on campus for a 2- to 3-mile walk. RSVP at meetup.com (register for free) to receive the walking routes and meeting location.
Running Club meets on Saturdays at 8:15 a.m. for a brief warm-up and stretch, then leaves for the run at 8:30 a.m. Personal trainer and experienced runner Jason Chuhay prepares routes with varying distances. There’s a place for every pace. RSVP on the meetup.com running club to receive the running routes ahead of time.
