Held annually in honor of Professor Emeritus Ulrich Hopfer, the Department of Physiology and Biophysics (DPB) will host its 10th annual special lecture Monday, March 20, at 4 p.m.
This year’s presentation, “Performing under Stress: The Role of Intercalated Cells in the Renal Regulation of Potassium Homeostasis,” will be given by Lisa M. Satlin, pediatrician-in-chief of Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital in New York City.
Prior to the lecture, members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to attend a reception for Satlin at 3 p.m. in the DPB lobby of the School of Medicine Robbins Building before moving to E-501 lecture hall.
No registration is necessary to attend.
