Michael Goldberg, assistant professor of design and innovation, recently won a $23,500 grant from Venture Well.
The grant is to fund a semester-long innovation and entrepreneurship course for student teams from the Case School of Engineering and Weatherhead School of Management.
Students will transform research and ideas into commercial entities, with projects coming from such partners as CWRU’s Technology Transfer Office, Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Cleveland Institute of Art and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
