Volunteer in the community through the CCEL Serves program

Students can register now for the Center for Civic Engagement and Learning’s CCEL Serves program. The program provides daily service opportunities and transportation to undergraduate and graduate students interested in volunteering at area nonprofits alongside a small group of peers.

CCEL Serves includes sites with a flexible commitment where volunteers can sign up to serve once or as often as their schedules allow, as well as sites that require a weekly commitment of one semester.

CCEL Serves features 20 service opportunities, such as tutoring youth or adults; sorting books, medical supplies or donated food; volunteering at an area animal shelter; serving a hot meal; and more.

Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is encouraged.

Visit the CCEL Serves website for more information or to sign up.
