VP for Human Resources Carolyn Gregory named finalist for Crain’s Cleveland Business nonprofit HR executive of the year

Crain’s Cleveland Business named Vice President for Human Resources Carolyn Gregory a finalist for HR executive of the year in the nonprofit category, as part of the publication’s 2017 Archer Awards.

In naming her a finalist, the publication cited multiple initiatives led by Gregory, including the paid parental leave and emergency back-up child care, and the creation of a wellness program for employees, a Professional Development Center and efforts to enhance employee morale.

It also highlighted initiatives Gregory took on to enhance employee morale and programs designed to help them.

Ultimately, Tom Snowberger chief of human resources officer at University Hospitals, was selected as the winner of the award.

Also at the awards, Richard Boyatzis, a Distinguished University Professor and the H.R. Horvitz Chair of Family Business, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to human resources.
