University Technology Software Center updates annual licenses for Minitab titles, SAS

The University Technology ([U]Tech) Software Center recently updated Minitab titles and the annual license for SAS 9.4 TS1M3.

Minitab

The annual license for Minitab has been updated and upgraded to version 18, with an expiration date of July 31, 2018. Minitab is available for Windows operating systems only. For more information, visit minitab.com/en-us/products/minitab/whats-new.

Additionally, the annual licenses for Minitab Express and Companion by Minitab (formerly Quality Companion) have been updated, also with an expiration date of July 31, 2018.

Minitab Express is available for both Windows and Mac operating systems. For more information, visit minitab.com/en-us/products/express.

Companion by Minitab is available for Windows operating systems only. For more information, visit minitab.com/en-us/products/companion.

These titles are available to all faculty, staff and students at no additional charge.

SAS 9.4 TS1M3

The annual license for SAS 9.4 TS1M3 was updated, with an expiration date of Aug. 15, 2018. SAS is available for download to all faculty and staff using a valid speedtype account for $109 per license. Media is available to faculty and staff for an additional $50. Also, to avoid reinstalling the software, a renewal option is available for faculty and staff. SAS is available to students at no additional charge.

Users should note the following SAS license restrictions:

SAS is a Teaching and Research License and is subject to the terms of this agreement. The software may be used by faculty, staff and students only in conjunction with classroom instruction and coursework directly related to CWRU’s post-secondary degree requirements, including the formulation of theses and dissertations and CWRU’s noncommercial research activities (academic research). Use of SAS Teaching and Research licenses for institutional/administrative research is prohibited.
