University community invited to Cleveland Traditional Chinese Medicine and Materia Medica Forum

The Cleveland Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Materia Medica (MM) Forum is an international academic conference co-hosted by Cleveland State University, World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, International TCM Health and Prosperity Alliance Society, China Medicinal Material Association, and Canada Institute of Holistic Medicine. It is also an annual meeting of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies Quality Specialty Commission of Materia Medica. This meeting will be held on the campus of Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio on August 17-19, with many renowned TCM and MM professionals from China, Canada and USA. At this conference, attendees will be able to attend many advanced presentations and discussions not only on challenging medical topics such as pain, opioid addiction, cancer, obesity, depression, and disease prevention, etc., but also on the quality standards and assurance of materia medica production and manufacturing in China and the development of international standards for safe use of materia medica, by world-renowned professionals.

This conference intends to provide a forum for professionals to exchange scientific ideas of clinical practice and academic research, and opportunities of making new friends and building collaboration.
